Regular Season Round 9: Khouzestan - Kerman 69-63

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kerman (4-3) against sixth ranked Khouzestan (2-1) on Tuesday night. Visiting Kerman was defeated by Khouzestan in a tough game in Ahvaz 63-69. Arash Sabeti orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Darington Hobson (201-87, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Ukrainian center Igor Chumakov (208-90, agency: BIG) answered with 9 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Isaiah Williams (188-95, college: Georgia St., agency: BIG) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kerman. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Khouzestan maintains sixth place with 2-1 record. Kerman at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Zob Ahan and Kouchin.
