There was no surprise in Kashiwa where 9th ranked Chanson V-M (1-5) was crushed by fifth ranked Eneos S. (5-1) 80-61 on Sunday. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Fujimoto Mako (179-99) chipped in 25 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Dayai Fatou (180-97) with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Kuke Haruka (166-95) scored 4 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Eneos S. moved-up to fourth place. Loser Chanson V-M keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Eneos S. will meet at home Niigata R. (#8) in the next round. Chanson V-M will play against Toyota A. in Nagoya and hope to win that game.
