Rather expected game when 6th ranked Aomori W. (1-9) was smashed by third ranked Koshigaya A. (7-3) in Tokyo 100-76 on Sunday. Koshigaya A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) notched 21 points to lead the effort and the other American import center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 assists by guard Hayate Komasawa (188-98) did not help to save the game for Aomori W.. Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-90, college: NM State) added 13 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koshigaya A. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Aomori W. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Ehime OV.
