Regular Season Round 6: Hitech - SWU 70-79

The most important game in the last round took place in Bangkok between third ranked Hitech (4-2) and eighth ranked SWU (2-4) on Wednesday night. Hitech was defeated by SWU in a tough game at home 70-79. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hitech. International center Afnan Charansarn (188-97) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Natthaworn Banjathon (179) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. SWU's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Nattakarn Muangboon (180-91) with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Nattapol Kupradit (175) scored 17 points. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. SWU moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Thunders and Shoot it Dragon. Defending champion Hitech keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Sting Rays and Dunkin' Raptors. SWU is looking forward to face Shoot it Dragon (#6) in the next round. Hitech will play against Thunders and is hoping to win this game.
