Regular Season Round 9: Gunma CT - Hitachi SRT 85-92

Very predictable result when third ranked Hitachi SRT (6-3) defeated on the road 8th ranked Gunma CT (3-6) 92-85 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). International point guard Leo Vendrame (183-93) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) who recorded 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) added 8 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Hitachi SRT keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Gunma CT keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Hitachi SRT will meet at home San-en NP (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gunma CT will play against Nagoya DD and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
