Regular Season Round 9: Akita NH - Yokohama BC 63-70

Quite upsetting was Akita NH's (#5) home defeat in a game versus seventh ranked Yokohama BC 70-63. Yokohama BC dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Akita NH's 22. The best player for the winners was Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and the former international swingman Takatoshi Furukawa (190-87) added 15 points respectively. Four Akita NH players scored in double figures. Yokohama BC (5-4) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
