Regular Season Round 8: Aisin AW - Shinagawa 78-57

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Aichi where eleventh ranked Aisin AW (2-4) smashed 10th ranked Shinagawa (2-6) 78-57. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and the other American import center Nigel Spikes (208-89, college: Marshall) supported him with 5 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by forward Abu Philip (198-97) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa. Power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aisin AW moved-up to tenth place. Newly promoted Shinagawa dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost.
