Regular Season Round 7: Fukuoka R. - Koshigaya A. 89-105

Another interesting game for Koshigaya A. (5-3) which played on the court of Fukuoka R. (4-4). Fourth ranked Koshigaya A. had an easy win 105-89. Koshigaya A. shot 30 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Fukuoka R. only scored eleven points from the stripe. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Fukuoka R. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for swingman Makoto Kamata (193-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Stedmon Lemon (198-92, college: JCSU) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Koshigaya A. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Fukuoka R. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
