Very expected game when bottom-ranked Yokohama EX (0-8) lost to seventh ranked Okayama (4-2) in Tokyo 80-87 on Friday. Okayama made 29-of-36 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Yokohama EX only scored twelve points from the stripe. Okayama looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: FAU) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Chris Olivier (202-92, college: OK State) accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Okayama players scored in double figures. American Isaac Copeland (206-95, college: Nebraska) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) added 23 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Yokohama EX in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Okayama moved-up to sixth place. Yokohama EX lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost.
