There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Toyama G. (0-4) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Alvark Tokyo (2-2) 114-81 on Sunday. Alvark Tokyo shot 61.5 percent from the field and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Alvark Tokyo outrebounded Toyama G. 38-20 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 71.4 percentage. Alvark Tokyo looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Toyama G.'s players. Five Alvark Tokyo and four Toyama G. players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alvark Tokyo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Toyama G. still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Hokkaido L. and Ibaraki R..
