Regular Season Round 3: Hitachi SRT - Akita NH 94-83

The most important game of round 3 took place in Tokyo where Hitachi SRT beat Akita NH (2-1) 94-83 on Saturday night. Hitachi SRT forced 22 Akita NH turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five Hitachi SRT players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Takatoshi Furukawa (190-87) scored 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akita NH will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. Hitachi SRT will try to continue on its current victory against Akita NH at home.
