Regular Season Round 3: Saitama - Shizuoka 96-77

The biggest surprise of round 3 in B3 League took place in Saitama where host Saitama (3-1) crushed Shizuoka (3-1) 96-77 on Saturday evening. Saitama looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-96, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds and American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: CMU) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shizuoka's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
