There was no surprise in Manila where 9th ranked Ginebra Kings (3-5) were outplayed by first ranked TNT Ka Tropa (8-1) 88-67 on Sunday. TNT Ka Tropa forced 21 Ginebra Kings turnovers. Naturalized American guard Michael Williams (188-91, college: CS Fullerton) fired 27 points for the winners. Point guard Jayson Castro William (180-86) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Center Japeth Aguilar (206-87, college: WKU) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks and naturalized German forward Christian Standhardinger (206-89, college: Hawaii) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TNT Ka Tropa maintains first place with 8-1 record. Loser Ginebra Kings keep the ninth position with five games lost.
