An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Pasig City. Leader TNT Ka Tropa faced second-ranked Hotshots. Guests from Makati (6-0) defeated host Hotshots (5-2) 83-76. TNT Ka Tropa forced 19 Hotshots turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by Hotshots helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Kelly Williams (201-82, college: Oakland) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Jayson Castro William (180-86) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American forward Calvin Abueva (190-88) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Ian Paul Sangalang (201-91) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five TNT Ka Tropa and four Hotshots players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TNT Ka Tropa have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Hotshots at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with Meralco Bolts.
