Regular Season Round 2: National TBC - Nhatrang D. 92-80

There was no surprise when Nhatrang D. lost on the road to National TBC 92-80 on Thursday. National TBC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Nhatrang D.'s 34. They outrebounded Nhatrang D. 49-37 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. National TBC looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Richard Nguyen (183-99, college: Pierce JC) notched a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the former international Tu Le Ngoc (182-90) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. National TBC's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by American forward Christopher Galbreath (201-95, college: SHSU) did not help to save the game for Nhatrang D.. Dat Nguyen Thanh (174-89) added 24 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. National TBC will meet Saigon Heat on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nhatrang D. will play against Saigon Heat and hope to win that game.
