The game between third ranked Al-Hashd (15-3) and 11th ranked AL-Adhamiya (4-17) in Baghdad ended with biggest points difference. Al-Hashd outscored guests from Baghdad 100-68. Al-Hashd held AL-Adhamiya to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Thulfiqar Hammoodi (196-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds and Lebanese power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-90, college: Michigan Tech, agency: BIG) who added 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Hussein Rubaye responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Rasheed Al-Ammari (163-94) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al-Hashd have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Shorta. AL-Adhamiya at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Al-Hashd will play against bottom-ranked Al Hilla (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AL-Adhamiya will play against Al-Tadamoun in Najef and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
