Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Shimane Magic (27-33) edged on the road 9th ranked Niigata A. (16-38) 92-90 on Monday. Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Perrin Buford (198-94, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) had a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) chipped in 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds during the contest. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Niigata A.'s coach Shogo Fukuda tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shimane Magic maintains fifth position with 27-33 record. Loser Niigata A. keeps the ninth place with 38 games lost.
