Regular Season Round 59: Sea Horses M. - San-en NP 91-68

Not a big story in a game in Kariya where 9th ranked San-en NeoPhoenix (13-45) was rolled over by fourth ranked Aishin Sea Horses (31-20) 91-68 on Saturday. Aishin Sea Horses looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Kyle Collinsworth (198-91, college: BYU) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. International center Avi Schafer (203-98, college: Georgia Tech) helped adding 20 points and 13 rebounds. Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses' coach Kimikazu Suzuki felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: USAO, agency: BIG) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Aishin Sea Horses moved-up to third place. San-en NeoPhoenix lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 45 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face again San-en NeoPhoenix (#9) in Hamamatsu in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
