The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Niigata A.'s (15-37) road loss to eighth ranked Yokohama BC (18-40) 85-87 on Friday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Ole Miss) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) helped adding 17 points and 6 assists. Four Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Yokohama BC maintains eighth place with 18-40 record. Niigata A. lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 37 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
