No shocking result in a game in Hiroshima where sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (22-34) defeated 10th ranked Dragonflies (8-43) 82-75. Shiga L-Stars forced 19 Dragonflies turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized American guard Isaiah Murphy (196-98, college: ENMU) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Dragonflies. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Dragonflies' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shiga L-Stars maintains sixth position with 22-34 record. Dragonflies lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth place with 43 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will play against league's second-placed Osaka E. on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
