An interesting game for Gunma (50-3) which played road game in Sendai against 4th placed Sendai 89ers (31-23). First ranked Gunma managed to get a 8-point victory 88-80. Gunma made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Gunma outrebounded Sendai 89ers 34-23 including 20 on the defensive glass.
