Regular Season Round 58: Bambitious N. - Saga B. 87-81

The most important game in the last round took place in Nara between third ranked Saga B. (29-23) and seventh ranked Bambitious N. (19-35) on Sunday night. Saga B. was defeated by Bambitious N. in a tough game on the road 81-87. Bambitious N. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The other American import swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and point guard Nishi Yutaro (176-92) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saga B.'s coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Bambitious N. maintains seventh position with 19-35 record. Saga B. at the other side keeps the third place with 23 games lost. Bambitious N. are looking forward to face higher ranked Kumamoto V. (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Saga B. will play against the league's leader Nishinomiya S. having rather not much hope for a victory.
