No shocking result in a game in Kirkuk where third ranked Al-Hashd (12-3) smashed 9th ranked Nift Al-Shamal (3-10) 100-76. Al-Hashd held Nift Al-Shamal to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a very good performance for Lebanese power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-90, college: Michigan Tech, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Abbas Al-Draisawi (188-98) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Al-Hashd players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mohammed Al-Lawi replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jasim Mahdi (191-92) added 19 points in the effort for Nift Al-Shamal. Newly promoted Al-Hashd maintains third position with 12-3 record having six points less than leader Al Naft. Nift Al-Shamal lost third consecutive game. Nift Al-Shamal at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth place with ten games lost.
