Regular Season Round 19: Pauian - Yulon Luxgen 82-78

Very important is a loss of second ranked Yulon Luxgen (23-13) against fifth ranked Pauian (10-26) on Sunday night. Yulon Luxgen was defeated by Pauian in a tough game 78-82. It was an exceptional evening for center Dan Qiao (200-92) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. Guard Jun-Xiang Lu (188-97) accounted for 33 points (!!!) for the winning side. Four Pauian players scored in double figures. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) came up with 24 points and point guard Li Kai-Yan (182-93) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Yulon Luxgen in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Pauian maintains fifth place with 10-26 record. Yulon Luxgen at the other side keeps the second position with 13 games lost. Pauian's next round opponent will be again league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
