An exciting game was when Third ranked Bank of Taiwan faced 4th placed Jutai Techn.. Bank of Taiwan (15-20) defeated Jutai Techn. (11-24) 76-60. Bank of Taiwan dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Jutai Techn.'s 18. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) fired 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. International center Zong-Rong Hsieh (200-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) produced 18 points and 7 assists and the former international forward Yi-Chin Su (195-93) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains third place with 15-20 record having thirteen points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Loser Jutai Techn. keeps the fourth position with 24 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will face again Jutai Techn. (#4) in the next round. Jutai Techn. will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and hope to win that game.
