Regular Season Round 12: Satya Wacana - Pelita Jaya 69-105

IBL top team - Pelita Jaya (12-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Satya Wacana (4-9) in Salatiga 105-69. Pelita Jaya forced 24 Satya Wacana turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of international Muhammad Wicaksono (189-89) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Agassi Goantara (189-99) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Bryan Adha Praditya (180-98) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and guard Henry Lakay (196-98) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelita Jaya have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record. Satya Wacana lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Pelita Jaya will face Prawira (#3) in Bandung in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Satya Wacana will play on the road against WBS in Jakarta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
