Regular Season Round 22: Fubon Braves - Pilots 110-100

An interesting game for Fubon Braves (19-5) which played against their biggest opponent Pilots (10-14). First ranked Fubon Braves managed to get a 10-point victory 110-100. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Pilots' 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fubon Braves' coach Chin-Tse Hsu used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chin-Yao Yao (187-90) replied with 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Keng-Yu Chang (186-95) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pilots. Four Fubon Braves and five Pilots players scored in double figures. Fubon Braves have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-5 record. Pilots at the other side keep the second place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Dreamers.
