They outrebounded Tokyo Z 43-32 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Finnish-American power forward Erik Murphy (208-90, college: Florida) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) accounted for 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Nigerian-American center Nnanna Egwu (211-92, college: Illinois) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks and point guard Tsubasa Kurihara (180-97) added 20 points respectively for Tokyo Z in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukushima have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 23-25 record. Tokyo Z lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 42 games lost. Fukushima will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tokyo Z will play again against Fukushima (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
