Regular Season Round 49: Shinshu BW - Hokkaido L. 90-76

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Hokkaido L. (14-33) lost to sixth ranked Shinshu BW (17-29) in Nagano 76-90 on Saturday. Shinshu BW looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated also this game. Quite impressive performance for center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. Point guard Jordan Taylor (187-89, college: Wisconsin, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 20 points and 7 assists and forward Nick Mayo (206-97, college: EKU, agency: Pensack Sports) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hokkaido L.Newly promoted Shinshu BW maintains sixth place with 17-29 record. Loser Hokkaido L. keeps the eighth position with 33 games lost. Shinshu BW will face again Hokkaido L. (#8) in Saporro in the next round.
