Regular Season Round 49: Tochigi B. - Nagoya DD 88-69

An interesting game for Tochigi B. (39-10) which hosted in Tochigi 4th placed Diamond Dolphins (29-21). First ranked Tochigi B. had an easy win 88-69. Tochigi B. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American power forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) chipped in 11 points. Four Tochigi B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Leo Lyons (206-87, college: Missouri) responded with 17 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard Takumi Saito (172-95) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tochigi B.. They maintain first place with 39-10 record. Diamond Dolphins at the other side keep the fourth position with 21 games lost. Tochigi B. will again play against Diamond Dolphins (#4) in Nagoya in the next round. Diamond Dolphins will have a break next round.
