Regular Season Round 9: Hang Tuah - Indonesia P. 57-84

There was no surprise in Pandang where 5th ranked Hang Tuah (1-9) was crushed by second ranked Indonesia P. (8-2) 84-57 on Saturday. Indonesia P. dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Hang Tuah's 20. They outrebounded Hang Tuah 52-28 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Indonesia P. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Ali Alhadar (195-0) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international center Kelvin Sanjaya (199-0) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Oki Wira Sanjaya (190-89) who recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds and Gunawan Gunawan (190-92) added 9 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Indonesia P. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Satria Muda. Hang Tuah lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Indonesia P.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena NSH.
