Regular Season Round 46: Tochigi B. - San-en NP 99-55

B1 League top team - Tochigi B. (36-10) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked San-en NeoPhoenix (11-36) 99-55. Tochigi B. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to San-en NeoPhoenix's 30 and made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded San-en NeoPhoenix 39-26 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tochigi B. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American power forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) chipped in 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Tochigi B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Nenad Miljenovic (194-93, agency: BeoBasket) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi B. maintains first position with 36-10 record. San-en NeoPhoenix at the other side keeps the ninth place with 36 games lost. Tochigi B. will again play against San-en NeoPhoenix (#9) in Hamamatsu in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San-en NeoPhoenix will have a break next round.
