No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Rizing (22-28) beat 8th ranked Orange Vikings (16-29) in Fukuoka 80-73 on Wednesday. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Gerald Beverly (202-93, college: Daemen) supported him with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Even 17 points and 9 rebounds by American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: CMU) did not help to save the game for Orange Vikings. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: LBSU) added 13 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rizing maintains fifth position with 22-28 record. Orange Vikings lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 29 games lost. Rizing will meet at home higher ranked Saga B. (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Orange Vikings will play against Kagawa FA (#4) and hope to secure a win.
