Very expected game in Mito where 6th ranked Kumamoto V. (18-28) was crushed by second ranked Ibaraki R. (33-13) 111-82 on Saturday. Ibaraki R. made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Kumamoto V.'s players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: UCF) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ibaraki R. have a solid four-game winning streak.
