B1 League top team - Tochigi B. (34-9) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Yokohama BC (14-29) 77-66. They outrebounded Yokohama BC 36-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. Yokohama BC was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Tochigi B. players scored in double figures. American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import power forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Ole Miss) added 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Yokohama BC.
