B1 League top team - Ryukyu GK (32-11) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Dragonflies (7-36) in Okinawa 90-70. Ryukyu GK players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. His fellow American import forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis, agency: Wasserman) chipped in 16 points. Five Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit) produced 21 points and Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 32-11 record, which they share with Chiba J. Dragonflies lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth position with 36 games lost. Ryukyu GK's next round opponent will be again Dragonflies (#10) in Hiroshima and are hoping to win another game.
