Regular Season Round 5: Louvre S. - Bali Utd. 86-76

An interesting game for Louvre S. (4-1) which hosted in Surabaya second-ranked Bali Utd. (3-2). Third ranked Louvre S. managed to get a 10-point victory 86-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bali Utd.. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Bali Utd. 45-32 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Bali Utd. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Dio Saputra (179-98) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Yerikho Tuasela (178-94) produced 20 points and 4 steals and the former international Ponsianus Indrawan (191-85) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Bali Utd. players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Louvre S. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Bima Perkasa. Newly promoted Bali Utd. dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Louvre S.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed Prawira in Bandung and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bali Utd. will play on the road against WBS in Jakarta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
