Leader Gunma delivered the 42th victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Kumamoto V. (18-26) 93-65. They outrebounded Kumamoto V. 44-28 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gunma players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Justin Keenan (202-89, college: Ferris St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Gunma players scored in double figures. Power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: UCF) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kumamoto V.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunma (42-3) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Kumamoto V. lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 26 games lost. Gunma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kumamoto V. will play again at home against the league's leader Gunma (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
