There was a minor upset in Saporro where their close opponent Dragonflies (7-35) were defeated by tenth ranked Hokkaido L. (12-29) 74-62 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Mayo (206-97, college: EKU, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Nakano Tsukasa (184-96) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American guard Isaiah Murphy (196-98, college: ENMU) who recorded 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hokkaido L. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Dragonflies keep the tenth position with 35 games lost. Hokkaido L. will face higher ranked Osaka E.
