Regular Season Round 15: Dreamers - Fubon Braves 104-114

An interesting game for Fubon Braves (13-5) which played against 3rd placed Dreamers (8-8). First ranked Fubon Braves managed to get a 10-point victory 114-104. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Dreamers. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Dreamers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89, agency: BIG) helped adding 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fubon Braves' coach Chin-Tse Hsu used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Jerran Young (198-91, college: Wright St.) with 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Steph Hicks (198-92, college: CSUN) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fubon Braves maintains first place with 13-5 record. Dreamers at the other side keep the third position with eight games lost. Fubon Braves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dreamers will play again at home against the league's leader Fubon Braves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
