An interesting game for Tochigi B. (31-9) which played road game in Kanagawa against 3rd ranked Toshiba Thunders (28-13). First ranked Tochigi B. managed to get a 4-point victory 58-54. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Toshiba Thunders. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 7 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) contributed with 4 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Spanish Pablo Aguilar (203-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Toshiba Thunders. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tochigi B. maintains first position with 31-9 record. Defending champion Toshiba Thunders keep the third place with 13 games lost. Tochigi B. are looking forward to face Shimane Magic (#5) on the road in the next round. Toshiba Thunders will play against Niigata A. and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
