Regular Season Round 40: Ryukyu GK - Sea Horses M. 85-75

An interesting game for Ryukyu GK (29-11) which hosted in Okinawa their biggest opponent Aishin Sea Horses (26-14). First ranked Ryukyu GK managed to get a 10-point victory 85-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aishin Sea Horses. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Kyle Collinsworth (198-91, college: BYU) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ryukyu GK maintains first position with 29-11 record. Aishin Sea Horses at the other side keep the second place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Toyama G.. Ryukyu GK will play against Yokohama BC (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aishin Sea Horses will play against Shinshu BW (#7) and hope to get back on the winning track.
