They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. American power forward Justin Keenan (202-89, college: Ferris St.) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Five Gunma players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American center Nnanna Egwu (211-92, college: Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Kotaro Hisaoka (180-97) added 13 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gunma. They maintain first place with 39-3 record. Tokyo Z lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 36 games lost. Gunma will face Fukushima (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tokyo Z will play against Aomori W. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
