The game in Ahvaz supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Rafsanjan (6-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Khouzestan (2-12). Rafsanjan smashed Khouzestan 89-45. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Khouzestan. Rafsanjan forced 24 Khouzestan turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Khouzestan's players. The former international swingman Saeid Mohammadi (187-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Center Mahdi Moradinasab (202-92) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Rafsanjan players scored in double figures. Rafsanjan's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Abolfazl Mohseni replied with 17 points and Hossein Shabani added 12 points in the effort for Khouzestan. Newly promoted Rafsanjan maintains fifth position with 6-6 record. Khouzestan at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost.
