Shimane Magic defeated Hitachi Sunrockers 88-77 on Saturday. Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Forward Reid Travis (203-95, college: Kentucky, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Forward Perrin Buford (198-94, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hitachi Sunrockers. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shimane Magic have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 15-24 record, which they share with Shiga L-Stars and Shinshu BW. Hitachi Sunrockers lost fourth consecutive game.
