An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kashiwa. Leader Eneos S. faced 3rd placed Hitachi Cougars. Host Eneos S. (13-0) defeated guests from Hitachinaka (9-4) 81-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hitachi Cougars. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Yuki Miyazawa (183-93, college: Queens, NY) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Saori Miyazaki (167-95) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Eneos S. players scored in double figures. The former international center Rika Tanimura (185-93) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Yuki Kitamura (173-94) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Eneos S. have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place in East with 13-0 record. Hitachi Cougars at the other side keep the third position with four games lost.
