Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Hokkaido L. (9-27) was outscored by fifth ranked Toshiba Thunders (25-12) in Saporro 98-75 on Saturday. Toshiba Thunders dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hokkaido L.'s 20 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hokkaido L.'s players. Hokkaido L. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
