The former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-91) supported him with 20 points and 4 assists. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by North Macedonian-American center Shane Whittington (211-91, college: W.Michigan) did not help to save the game for Aishin Sea Horses. American power forward Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Four Toshiba Thunders and five Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 23-12 record. Aishin Sea Horses lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Hitachi SRT and Toyama G.. Toshiba Thunders will play against Niigata A. (#9) on the road in the next round. Aishin Sea Horses will play against Osaka E.
