The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ryukyu GK as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ryukyu GK defeated 10th ranked Hokkaido L. in Okinawa 93-80. Ryukyu GK made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Ryukyu GK outrebounded Hokkaido L. 40-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. Ryukyu GK have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Hokkaido L. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 24 games lost. They share the position with Niigata A.. Hokkaido L. will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Ryukyu GK will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Hokkaido L. at Saporro.
