Regular Season Round 10: Fubon Braves - Dreamers 111-84

Very significant was Fubon Braves' (#1, 10-1) victory against 3rd ranked Dreamers (3-7) 111-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dreamers. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Dreamers' 44. They outrebounded Dreamers 59-42 including 18 on the offensive glass. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89, agency: BIG) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) supported him with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds by American guard Steph Hicks (198-92, college: CSUN) did not help to save the game for Dreamers. The former international guard Chin-Min Yang (195-84) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-1 record. Dreamers at the other side keep the third place with seven games lost. Fubon Braves will again play against Dreamers (#3) in Changhua City in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dreamers will have a break next round.
